Take your castaway experience to another level and try Sonu’s favourite! A party and gourmet-magnificent picnic lunch, prepared by fabulous Soneva chefs, on a deserted island. Snorkelling equipment and snorkelling guides will be available for you to dip yourself in the crystal-clear blue lagoon and enjoy the magnificent sea life in the surrounds

Leisurely gliding, sporty driving in the water, safe diving under water. All this is possible with a SEA BOB! Now you can actually move through the water like a fish, freely, both on the surface and at depth. At the same time, the SEA BOB is completely environmentally friendly when in its element. It zooms powerfully and almost silently through the water.

Journey out, accompanied by Soneva’s resident Marine Snorkel Experts on a guided snorkelling trip to one of the spectacular reefs found in the Baa Atoll. You will be introduced to the various species of marine life and fish, and you will surely see the beautiful and famous sea turtles which are common in this area of the Maldives.
Join this almost once-in-a-lifetime excursion and search for the enigmatic, graceful, inquisitive and charismatic manta rays in the waters of the Baa Atoll. If the conditions are right, you will head out to Hanifaru Bay, located only 20 minutes by speedboat from Soneva Fushi ~ which has one of the world’s largest population of manta rays. When time and tide align, fortunate snorkellers get to observe and capture a rolling, whirling feast where it may be possible to see hundreds of these large, yet harmless, creatures congregate to gorge themselves in the plankton-rich waters.
**There are also several other locations close to Soneva Fushi where manta sightings are common, so the exact itinerary of the trip may vary to maximize the chance of seeing these magnificent creatures. If mantas cannot be seen on the trip, the Marine Experts will lead an underwater discovery tour to showcase the stunning scenery of the marine life in the Baa Atoll.

Arguably the oldest profession in the Maldives, fishing is one of the most relaxing activities for anyone. Those who might rank themselves as talented fishermen with a sixth sense for good fishing spots would find it a worthy challenge to test the plentiful waters of the Indian Ocean for an impressive catch. Heading out in the boat just before the sun completely rises is a chance to enjoy the spectacular natural scenery, stunning sunrise and rich underwater life of the Maldives, while enjoying a few snacks and beverages. Our captain will take you to secret spots known for big game, yet away from the reef to avoid causing any damage. The crew can aid fishing enthusiasts of all levels and can also teach the basics of fishing with a simple line and a sharp hook.

ANOTHER BRAND-NEW OFFERING FOR BIDVEST!
Soneva Fushi has just launched its brand-new experience on the Island – A ZIPLINING activity!
**This activity is not normally available as a stand-alone experience but is being made available to the Bidvest Group to enjoy as a separate activity**
After being securely strapped into a safety harness, and firmly helmeted, you will soar along a 200-metre zipline scenic route through the Fushi forest at a height of 5 to 10 metres above the ground – with towering platforms and rope bridges along the way. The zipline takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes
This truly is the ultimate in Island experiences! With a delectable gourmet menu, breath-taking views over the leafy forest and the adrenaline rush of ziplining through the treetops – the Flying Sauces zipline is a dining experience like no other! Starting from The Den, glide along the 200-metre zipline route to the elevated dining platform – at 12 metres above the ground, it has exceptional views across the sparkling ocean. Once there, Chef Rasal will prepare an exquisite seasonal Lunch menu in the open treetop kitchen, paired with a selection of the finest wines from Soneva’s extensive cellars.
